YardVision (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website at getyardvision.com and provides an AI-powered yard design platform for landscaping companies. Our primary contact is hello@getyardvision.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you provide directly

• Account registration: company name, your name, email address, password
• Company profile: logo, service offerings, pricing, contact information
• Billing information: payment method details (processed by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers)
• Support communications: emails or messages you send us

Information collected from your customers (homeowners)

• Yard photos and design preferences submitted through your branded portal
• Name, email, phone number, and address provided when submitting a quote request
• Zip code used to filter climate-appropriate plants

Information collected automatically

• Server logs: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps
• Cookies: session authentication, preference storage (no advertising or tracking cookies)

3. How we use your information

• Service delivery: Powering the design tool, delivering quote requests to landscaping companies, and running the admin CRM.
• AI generation: Homeowner yard photos are sent to Replicate (our AI provider) to generate design visualizations. Photos are transmitted over encrypted connections and are not used to train AI models.
• Email notifications: Sending quote alerts, status update emails, and transactional messages via Resend.
• Billing: Processing subscription payments and managing invoices via Stripe.
• Security: Detecting fraud, preventing abuse, and protecting the platform.
• Product improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage data to understand how the product is used and improve it.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days before deletion, unless you request earlier deletion. Homeowner quote request data is retained for the landscaping company's account lifetime and subject to their retention decisions. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@getyardvision.com.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices: HTTPS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, server-side session management, and environment-isolated secrets. We do not store payment card data — all billing is handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Object to or restrict our processing of your information
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Children's privacy

YardVision is a business-to-business platform intended for adults operating landscaping companies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
